This Week in Science

This week in science I missed most of the week due to testing and the Solar Sprints. But I will talk about the Solar Sprints as it also relates to science. It is always a good experience and a great place to learn about scientific theorems and ideas to improve our cars. I learned that if you cool your solar panel you can increase the efficancy of the panel. This is because the cooler the panel and wires the less resistance thus a better working panel. We also learned that friction even of a wire on to small eye hooks can be a great problem working against the car. We realised that the smaller the car the better chances it has of winning because we saw only small cars in the final race.
