This week in science

This week in science we started the Dynamics Unit. We learned how to make force diagrams. We learned that when arrows going in opposite directions are equal in length the forces are equal thus the object to wihich the force is applied will not move. We also learned that when one force is greater than another force pulling in the opposite direction the object will travel in the direction that the stronger force is making it go.

object
<-------.------->
- F1 F2 +

These two forces above are opposite and equal so this can be repersented by F1+F2= oN
This means the object will stay statioinary.

This Week in Science

This week in science we did much work on our kinematics Units and I learned a lot. I learned that objects accelerate at a constant rate. Also I learned that to find the slope of a linear line you can do:

V1+V2= change in V
A= -------------------
T1+T2= change in T

But this will not work for something that is acclerating only something that is travelling at a constant rate. I also learned how to find when to things will colide by creating an equation and solving for the variables to find the time and place when the two objects will meet.
